A Knot in Motion was initiated by artists Luiz Zanotello and Islam Shabana as part of a web residency program at Akademie Schloss Solitude together with SAVVY Contemporary and the Research Netting Group. As an ongoing research, they are interested in joining together all of those voices that think-feel with the tropical rain, beyond borders of language and nationalities.

Therefore there is a long-standing call for contributions of poetic registers (verses/haiku/poems) or text excerpts (short stories/anecdotes/lyrics) through spoken voice (audio files or voice messages) accompanied by plain text. Particularly interesting are those who relate to the phenomenon of tropical rain by means of metaphors or different figures of speech.
